Emily Gibson a.k.a. the balls, is fresh out of Hotlanta, Georgia where she pissed away her chance at Boston College to go to art school. After that adventure she interned at 92.9 Dave FM and learned the tricks of the trade from local celebrities Mara Davis, Sully, and Renee. She joined a league of pirates and jumped ship at the first stop in Portland, Oregon, where she found things to be…well….white. Upon hustling through this new town she met some cool cats on a mission to take over Portland one podcast at a time. With her background in engineering, bartending, and some DJ gigs, Emily chugged down a PBR, looked ‘em back in the eye and said “shit yeah shawty!” Then one day a show was on air and nobody showed up to do the reviews, so the host gave Emily a mic and told her talk. She was a ballsy, vain, instigating bitch with morals that seemed to lie in the art of the cheeseburger. From there on out Emily would have the power of the microphone proclaiming love for novelties near and far and ripping new ones for those who aren’t quite up to her standards.

You may find Emily at your local dive bar mean mugging the boys with her hat cocked slighty to the right with a big fat A on the front. She may be in your moon bounce drinking your scotch and sweet talking your sister. She may be the one farting on trimet and enclosed spaces all around. But wherever she is, watch yourselves because she won’t throw a punch but she will capture your embarassing moments on camera, eves drop on your pathetic conversations, and bitch slap stupid people near and far live on The Meat Show podcast and blog.
