Some like it hot…

Today Robert Wagner has taken on the task of live blogging a day at pdx.fm. The announcement came on his blog where he posted “….and other assorted fancy ketchup…”.  So, that got me thinking, I don’t particularly have a favorite fancy ketchup, but there is this mustard that is ridiculously awesome.  It’s called Beaver Extra Hot Jalepeno Mustard. I dig this so much because I am not a huge mustard fan nor spicy mustard which is just mustard with this horseradish sting at the end.  But not this mustard, this mustard is like a whole new sauce. A sauce of it’s own kind, and I am what I call a sauce whore, so trust me, I would know.  Warning, you must like it spicy hot to enjoy this sauce because it is definitely spicy, unlike most things that label themselves spicy and taste like cow manure. I like to put this sauce on my hot dogs, burgers, random Asian food, and most of all on all BLT’s.  I bought my mustard at the Sheridan Fruit Co. in SE Portland.
